Fiesta is 20 years old! And we are planning to have fun with this celebration. Join us to celebrate our 20th anniversary on Friday, July 22nd and Saturday, July 23rd, at beautiful Island Park (B and Mill Street) in Springfield.

Admission: Adults $5, and children 10 and under free.

Fiesta Latina has scheduled an entertainment line up that is sure to please both young and old alike! The program will include some of Fiesta’s local favorites like Los Cumbiamberos and back after a long absence Los Mex Pistols del Norte. Fiesta will be presenting some musical acts never before seen in Lane County. Ranging from the newest Mexican singers like Lily Razo, the pop revelation in Mexico, Rubí “La Pantera” coming from California.  Our headliner LOS CAMINANTES a favorite within the Latin American community. Throughout the mid ’80s to mid ’90s, the band had a number of Billboard  chart hit albums such as 1986′s De Guanajuato…Para America!  with hit song, “Amor Sin Palabras” (“Love Without Words”).  Los Caminantes are also known for their playing of variety Regional Mexican  styles, e.g., Ranchera , Corrido , Balada , Cumbia , Banda  and Mariachi . They have recorded over 30 albums throughout their career span. To this day, the band continues to record and tour throughout the United States , Mexico , and Central America .  Also making their debut in Lane County LA LUZ ROJA DE SAN MARCOS playing cumbias and tropical music at its best.  This group will be closing our 20th Fiesta, making sure that those attending the event will dance like never before.  From San Marcos, Guerrero, close to Acapulco, this group has proved to be a favorite in the Cumbia world.  José Gómez Pantoja will be returning to Fiesta after pleasing our audience last year.

Kids will enjoy State Farm’s Fiesta Fun featuring 100 piñatas, interactive games, face painting, and traditional art projects like Mexican paper flowers, the creation of clay masks, and piñatas.

Our art exhibit will include 12 local artists which as always is favorite of many Fiesta patrons.

Fiesta guarantees the best Latin American food, from Mexico, Colombia, El Salvador and other countries.

This year KWIP 880 “La Campeona¨ from Dallas, Oregon is Fiesta’s official Spanish radio station.

Come and celebrate our 20th anniversary on July 22nd and 23rd.  Do not miss this annual community event presented by the Adelante Sí Hispanic Organization of Lane County.
